A WORLD OF GOOD THRIFT SHOP is receiving applications for a full-time manager. This position requires commitment to Anabaptist faith, as well as five years of management experience in an active retail business (or the equivalent). You should be available for occasional evenings and two Saturdays each month, beginning February 1, 2007. HOST FAMILY NEEDED. The Intensive English Program at EMU needs a host family for a young man from Palestine (Gaza) for the Spring Semester, from January 4 to April 27. Host families provide lodging, breakfast & dinner, transportation to & from EMU, and social interaction for students. For more information, call 432-4059 or e-mail iep@emu.edu.



EMU FITNESS CENTER HOLIDAY SPECIAL: EMU Fitness Center offers the following holiday special:

  • $60 – 3 months - Community members

  • $50 – 3 months - EMU alumni, pastors, seniors, EMHS employees, EMU p/t employees, EMU employees & student spouses

  • $45 – 3 months - High school students

  • Memberships may be purchased through January 12, and are valid 3 months from the purchase date. A personal orientation and tour of the center’s equipment, as well as some basic work-out options, are available. Call 432-4341 for more information.



    MCC’S SERVING AND LEARNING TOGETHER (SALT) is an 11-month program for Christians, ages 18 to 27, interested in a cross-cultural service experience. The primary goal is a personal transformation & learning in hope of sowing seeds for future transformation of our own society & of global relationships.
