Prayer Concerns


    • Pray for our ministry to the residents at Pleasant View Home. Ask God for wisdom in how to proceed with this.

    • Thank God for church members who keep our parking lots open and those who are deeply involved in the building process.

    • Pray for Phil & Marcia Lehman, church planters in Bari, Italy, under Virginia Mennonite Board of Missions. Phil pastors; while, they both lead a cell group & engage in friendship evangelism. Don't forget to pray for their children, Crystal & Christopher.

Virginia Conference, Mennonite Church USA

MCC’S ANNUAL TURKEY CANNING FOR 2007 will be February 26—March 2 at the Mennonite Relief Center. Help is needed each day from 5 a.m. until 11 p.m. (and especially in the early morning hours). Specific dates to note: Virginia Mennonite Conference is responsible to provide help on Tuesday, February 27, while Friday, March 2 will be a community day. Funds are needed to purchase turkey for processing and for the ongoing operation of the Relief Center. If you would like to contribute to this project you can send a donation to: Mennonite Relief Center, PO Box 519, Dayton, VA 22821, earmarked for the meat-canning project. If you have any questions pertaining to this project you can contact Leon Rhodes at 867-9751 or Gerald Knicely at 879-2077. Thanks for your participation in this effort to feed the less fortunate in the world!

ADULT WINTER BIBLE STUDY, featuring Dr. Myron Augsburger, is 6:30—8 p.m. in the EMS Auditorium on consecutive Sunday nights until March 11. AUDITIONS FOR SONS OF THE DAY. Sons of the Day, a Harrisonburg-based men's a cappella singing group, announces open auditions on March 13 & 14. Sons of the Day seeks male singers between the ages of 20—35 to fill a yet-undetermined number of openings.
